PARTS:

Building a pc may seem like a very intimidating task but in reality, it is quite straightforward. Building your own pc gives you an immeasurable level of euphoria. The excessive amount of options can baffle many people, to a build a pc you need these 7 essential  components: 

1.Motherboard(Mobo)

Your motherboard is the place where all your other parts will be situated (like CPU, graphics card, ram, etc). It comes in 3 sizes mini-ITX,micro-ATX, and ATX.

  Mini -ATX

For beginners, I would not recommend a mini-itx motherboard as they are very small and have no space for cable management. They are also quite expensive and are not recommended for first-time pc builders.

                                                                               

 Micro-ATX

Micro-ATX motherboards are the most common and are easily available. They are an ideal choice for a first-timer, you should buy a micro-ATX motherboard as they are much bigger than a mini-ITX so there is a lot of room available for cable management.

  ATX

ATX motherboards tend to be very large which gives them a lot more room for cable management but on the other side due to their large size they require a much bigger case and your overall pc will be very big. They are priced aptly and are easily available.

To purchase these parts I would suggest buying them from a local shop rather than some online websites as the difference between the prices of offline and online vary by almost 30%

2.CPU(Central processing unit)

The only two brands available in CPUs are Intel and AMD.intel CPUs are the most widely used CPUs and have a lot of options.they have their Pentium, i3,i5,i7, and i9. If you want to use your PC for the most basic tasks you would be fine with a Pentium they have 2 cores and are very good at handling single tasks but if you are a person who multitasks often then the Pentium might not be the right fit for you.then we gave the i3 which is an excellent choice as it packs the power to do all your everyday task as long as they are not very CPU intensive. the i5 processor should be the ideal choice for everyone as it checks all the boxes with no drawbacks it is not as powerful as an i7 or an i9 but can perform on their level. the i7 and the i9 are not recommended as they require a very big cooling solution, they emit more heat so if they are not cooled appropriately then they tend to throttle which lessens their computing power, they also tend to be quite expensive.

      

We also have the AMD line up of processors which comprises ryzen 3,ryzen 5, and ryzen 7. The ryzen models are comparable to their intel equivalents like i3 and ryzen 3 has close to the same performance.

Also when buying a processor you should always see the generation a 7th gen i7 is equal to an 8th gen i5 processor. While buying a CPU always try to get the latest generation. 

3.RAM(Random access memory)

Random-access memory is a form of memory that can be read and changed in any order, it is typically used to store working data and code.a random access memory device can read and write data in almost the same amount of time irrespective of the physical location of the data in the memory. A PC requires at least 8 GB of ram.

4.Power supply

Power supply is a component on which you should not save money as it is the primary power supplier of the pc and if it does not have a decent rating then it could cause short circuits and could lead to fires. you should always buy a power supply that has an 80+ bronze rating.

5.Storage

The data of the entire system is stored in either the hard drive (HDD) or the solid-state drive(SSD). the ssds tend to be much faster than the hard drives but they are quite expensive. The hard drives are much slower than the SSD but often have a higher capacity.they are available in 2 different speeds 5400  and 7200 rpm(rotations per minute). You should always buy the 7200 rpm version as it tends to be much faster. After building the PC the windows is always stored in the SSD as it reduces the time taken to boot up the system.

6.GPU(Graphics processing unit)

A graphics processing unit is a computer chip that performs rapid mathematical calculations, primarily to render images. the CPU first did these tasks, but with the development of more and more graphic-intensive tasks, these caused a massive strain on the CPU, so the GPU was invented. nowadays having a graphics card is essential as it is needed for almost every activity from video editing to playing games.the most popular graphics card are the GTX1650, GTX2060, GTX2070 AND GTX2080. For an average person, a GTX1650 is more than enough, it can play all the games at medium settings and is also good for video editing. It is not necessary to buy a graphics card because if you are a person who only uses their PC for web browsing or some other light task then you don't need a GPU.

            

7.PC CABINET/CASE

The PC cabinet/case is the condo for all your other parts. the size of your pc cabinet depends on the size of the mobo. always buy a mid-tower case for micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards. in most mid-tower cases even atx motherboards fit but if you have an atx motherboard try to get a bigger case .you can also get a tempered glass case to see all your parts.
